By accessing and using KenyaClassified.co.ke, you accept and agree to follow the platform rules outlined below. Violating these rules may result in immediate listing deletion or permanent account suspensions without prior notice.
1. General Posting Policies
- Local Ads Only: All listings must be based within Kenya, displaying real physical locations (e.g., Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Machakos, etc.).
- Accurate Details: Titles and descriptions must be clear and truthfully represent the condition of the asset or service. Prices must be specified in Kenyan Shillings (KES).
- No Duplicate Ads: You may not post multiple ads for the exact same item or service within the same or different categories.
2. Strictly Prohibited Items
The advertising of the following items is strictly illegal and banned on KenyaClassified.co.ke:
- Stolen goods, counterfeit items, or unregistered pharmaceutical drugs.
- Illicit weapons, explosives, or military-grade equipment.
- Protected wildlife products, ivory, or materials banned by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
- Deceptive financial schemes, pyramid networking setups, or vague "work-from-home" opportunities requiring advanced sign-up fees.
- Adult services, explicit content, or copyrighted intellectual property.
3. Safety and Escrow Rules for Users
To secure our community ecosystem, we enforce the following safety guidelines:
- Meet in Public: Always meet buyers/sellers in well-lit, public spaces (e.g., secure malls, bank lobbies, or police station vicinities).
- No Pre-Payments: Never send deposit money via mobile wallets (M-Pesa, Airtel Money) before seeing, inspecting, and approving the item. KenyaClassified is not liable for transactions made off-platform.
- Report Scams: Use the "Report Ad" button immediately if you detect inflated prices, suspicious contact behaviors, or fraudulent activity.
4. Limitation of Liability
KenyaClassified.co.ke does not own, inspect, or guarantee the items listed by individual users. We provide the structural digital platform, but the contract of sale remains purely between the individual buyer and seller.
